This is a 'thinkers' movie. If you want action, look elsewhere. If you like humor, see something else. If you need romance, you ain't going to find it here. The acting is solid in this movie, thank God. Otherwise I wouldn't have hit the door running. It's a downer, and it's slow, and I guess I just didn't 'get it'. I found the main character, Capote, to be tiresome and annoying. The story isn't much better. Note to self. Do NOT see any more movies about the writing of a book unless it's by Stephen King and starring Johnny Depp. ~ Tracy 12/30/05
