This has got to be the biggest disappointment of the year so far. I didn't connect with one of these characters. The acting was poor, and the screenplay was even worse. This was based off a true story, so how is it possible to make this movie seem totally unbelievable? Well, they managed. Sexual harassment is a serious issue and I've had to deal with my share. Still, I had to make an effort to summon any sympathy for these women and forget about empathy.

Charlize Theron has finally starred in a crap movie with a weak performance. Frances McDormand was terrible, too. I felt like I was watching Fargo again every time she was on the screen. Through out the whole film I felt like I was being force-fed sappy, Hollywood fluff. I've never heard of directors Niki Caro or Chris Menges and I don't expect to hear from them again soon. The list of writers is too long to mention which is fine because I'm finished reviewing this movie. ~ Tracy 1/01/06
